Berriew Young Farmers Club is an enthusiastic and active club which welcomes members between the ages of 13 to 28 years old. We currently have 54 members that are always eager to participate. The club is a great place for meeting new people and we are always welcoming new members. We meet every Monday at 7:30pm at Berriew Community Centre from September through to June.

We have a packed club programme which includes various meetings such as farm walks, tours around local businesses, activities night, sports nights and many demonstrations. As a club we also enjoy entering many county competitions throughout the year, this includes Sports, Eisteddfod, Stock judging, Entertainment festival and public speaking. These events are a great opportunity to socialise with other young farmers clubs and learn new skills and experiences.

Berriew YFC has always enjoyed being part of a close community, we enjoy hosting Bingos, Treasure hunts and race nights and recently got involved in a village clean up. We hold fundraising activities throughout the year and recently raised over £1600 by walking over 1,000,000 steps for Breast Cancer Care.

Our members are from all walks of life – farmers, vets, teachers, students… Remember YFC doesn’t just have to be for farmers!
