Wel pa flwyddyn mae hi wedi bod! Blwyddyn o reoliadau a chanllawiau Covid. Fel clwb ifanc dim ond ychydig o nosweithiau clwb y cawsom ar chwyddo. Nosweithiau gemau oedd y rhain: noson o ‘Would I Lie To You’ gyda’n clybiau gefeillio, Abermiwl a Llanbrynmair & Carno, helfa benjar yn y pen draw ac yn cystadlu yn y meim i gerddoriaeth ar gyfer yr Eisteddfod rithwir.

Rydym wedi colli’r rhyngweithio cymdeithasol a’r cystadleurwydd sydd fel arfer yn digwydd gyda CFfI dros y 12 mis diwethaf. Teimlwn fod hyn yn caniatáu ar gyfer ychydig o dafliadau cofiadwy i ‘amseroedd arferol ’:

    Diwrnod Maes 2019

Fel clwb roeddem yn un o’r clybiau trefnu. Fe wnaethon ni gystadlu llawer y flwyddyn honno ac roedd honno’n foment falch fel clwb gan fod y Diwrnod Maes fel arfer yn gystadleuaeth nad ydyn ni fel arfer yn cystadlu llawer ynddi.

    Eisteddfod 2017

Y flwyddyn y gwnaethom ennill y Meim i Gerddoriaeth gyda thema Dawnsio Caeth. Roedd ein cast yn ifanc iawn ac nid oedd rhai erioed wedi bod ar y llwyfan o’r blaen. Cawsom fechgyn wedi gwisgo fel merched, merched wedi gwisgo fel bechgyn a rhywfaint o ddawnsio bras iawn! Roedd dod yn 2il yng Nghymru yn anhygoel!

    Adloniant 2017

Eleni daeth yr holl gymeriadau allan o’r cwpwrdd gyda’n taith gerdded trwy amser i ddod o hyd i hapusrwydd. Roedd Dorothy ar yr helfa i ddod o hyd i’w chi a daeth ar draws Fforest Gump, Pinocchio, Shrek, Charlie Chaplin a pheidio ag anghofio Mr James Bond ei hun a dim ond enwi ond ychydig oedd hynny!

    Rali 2016

PENCAMPWYR Tynnu Rhyfel i Fenywod! Cyflawniad anhygoel na wnaed erioed o’r blaen gan ein clwb. Mae gwaith caled ac ymrwymiad yn sicr yn talu ar ei ganfed.

Pwy sydd ddim yn caru tafliad da?! Gobeithio y bydd y flwyddyn sydd i ddod yn dechrau gweld yr eiliadau cofiadwy hyn yn digwydd eto yn araf.

Well what a year it’s been! A year of Covid regulations and guidelines. As a young club we only had a few club nights on zoom. These were games nights: a night of ‘Would I Lie To You’ with our twinning clubs, Abermule and Llanbrynmair & Carno, an ultimate benjar hunt and competing in the mime to music for the virtual Eisteddfod.

We have greatly missed the social interaction and competitiveness that usually occurs with YFC over the last 12 months. We feel that this allows for a few memorable throwbacks to ‘’normal times’’:

    Field Day 2019

As a club we were one of the organising clubs. We competed a lot that year and that was a proud moment as a club as the Field Day is usually a competition that we don’t usually compete much in.

    Eisteddfod 2017

The year we won the Mime to Music with a Strictly come Dancing theme. Our cast were very young and some had never been on stage before. We had boys dressed as girls, girls dressed as boys and some very sketchy dancing! To then come 2nd in Wales was amazing!

    Entertainment 2017

This year all the characters came out of the cupboard with our walk through time to find happiness. Dorothy was on the hunt to find her dog and came across Forest Gump, Pinocchio, Shrek, Charlie Chaplin and not to forget Mr James Bond himself and that was just to name a few!

    Rally 2016

Female Tug of War Champions! An amazing achievement that has never been done before by our club. Hard work and commitment definitely pays off.

Who doesn’t love a good throwback?! Let’s hope that the upcoming year will slowly start to see these memorable moments happening again.
